This place I'm staying at in England is very rural so just recently I went for a country walk, as you do, and I stumbled across this great pub in the tiny village of Flaunden. What makes it even better is that every Wednesday evening and Sundays they have a classic bike meet. Not many bikes there when I went because the weather was rubbish. However one of the blokes said in the summer loads and loads of vintage machines turn up. Result!

"Met an old boy the other day who was telling me stories about a crazy drag bike that he used to campaign back in the day at local So.Cal strips.
It was mind blowing and I didn't believe him until he showed me hard evidence.
check out this pic.
Mr. C Lion converted a '51 pre-unit Trump and fitted a blown and injected 331 Cadillac V8. 2 port Hilborn, 4/71 blower and wild cam.
Any info on this bike would be great as I have lost his contact details. The only thing I know is that he worked at the San Diego Zoo."
